Black Seed Oil can be used in a wide variety of ways (on the hair and skin, in food, as a supplement) and has a lot of varied benefits as well -- from better digestion and skin nourishment to brain and immune support.This bottle holds 8.5 ounces of cold pressed black seed oil. This version of black seed oil is mainly to be taken orally or added to food -- smoothies, soups, juice, tea, whatever. Thus there is no dropper attached -- just a screw top to open. This is fine if you're going to pour it in a spoon or drink, but not so great if you want to use on the skin.The taste is good but I really do wish it came in a glass bottle rather than plastic (which can leach into the oil). I think the price is fair but, again, would really prefer a glass bottle. That's my only critique of this product.

I’ve been slowly acquiring a stockpile of alternative or homeopathic remedies in leaf, liquid, powder, and capsule form. I’ve seen a lot of companies add miniscule quantities of black seed oil to their products. I'm not seeing any sourcing for the nigella seeds, but I'm assuming it's worldwide.Black seed oil has many properties that are very appealing, including the fact that it’s a well-known immune booster. I’ve also researched the fact that it’s beneficial to skin and nails. It claims on the label that the oil is organic, but I'm not seeing any certification. Many companies are claiming organic, but don’t have any certifications. I'd at least like to see that USDA Organic certification if it's sold here..The bottle was sealed via the solid plastic cap. I do like the fact that it’s in an amber bottle to prevent degradation of the capsules. A batch number and expiration date was stamped on the label. The price is very, very reasonable at around $17, not the outrageous prices I’m seeing for waving black seed oil over their capsules or liquids.
